Connect Zaman IT SMS (or another HTTP SMS panel)

What it is#

Zaman IT gives you the technical details of its SMS panel only after your account is activated. So this form is flexible: you paste the address and the names of the fields exactly as your panel wrote them. The same form fits other panels that take a key, a sender, a number and a message over HTTP.

What you need#

• An activated Zaman IT account (or another SMS panel) with some balance.
• The current API instructions from the panel: the send address, the API key, your sender and the names of the parameters.

Where to find your keys#

   Ask for the API instructions

   Ask Zaman IT for the current API instructions for your account. They give you the sending address (endpoint) and the names of the parameters.

   Paste the main values

   Paste the sending address into Send endpoint URL, your key into API key and your approved sender into Sender ID.

   Match the method and names

   Set HTTP method and the four names (Key parameter name, Sender parameter name, Number parameter name, Message parameter name) exactly as the panel wrote them. The defaults are POST, api_key, sender, to and message; leave them if they match.

   Optional: success word and balance

   Fill Success word in the answer (the word the panel answers with when it accepts a message; the default is success) and, if the panel gave one, Balance endpoint URL.

What Jukto does#

• Your key is stored encrypted for this website only. After saving, only the last four characters are shown.
• Test connection reads your Zaman IT balance. It sends no text.
• Jukto sends one request to your Send endpoint URL per text, with the key, sender, number and message under the names you set. It counts the text as sent when the answer contains your success word.
• Test connection reads your balance only if you filled Balance endpoint URL. Without it, the test only checks that the settings are complete, so it cannot prove the key works. Send a test SMS to be sure.
• When it is on, every order event you switched on sends one text to the buyer's mobile number. Numbers written as 01..., +8801... or 8801... are accepted; anything else is not sent.
• The text is paid from your own Zaman IT balance.
• Demo orders, POS orders and imported orders never send a text.
• Each text appears in the SMS list on the order page as Waiting, Sent or Failed, with a Resend button. The log keeps only the last four digits of the number and the length of the text, never the text itself.
• If the gateway says a second try may work (it could not be reached, or it had a problem on its side), Jukto tries again, up to three times in all.

Test and turn on#

   Open the provider page

   Go to Tools, open Integrations, choose SMS, then Zaman IT SMS and press Set up (it says Manage once you have started).

   Fill in the fields and save

   Paste each value into the field with the same name, then press Save. A secret value is stored encrypted, and afterwards only its last four characters are shown.

   Test the connection

   Press Test connection. Jukto asks Zaman IT SMS whether the saved values work and shows whether it worked and, if not, what Zaman IT SMS answered. The test uses the saved values, so save first.

   Choose the order texts

   In Order SMS on the same page pick the language of the texts, switch each event on or off, edit the wording if you like and press Save. See SMS gateways for the events and the words you can insert.

   Turn on

   Press Turn on. Until then your website does not use it. Turn off stops it again and your saved values stay.

   Send a test SMS to yourself

   Press Send a test SMS to my number. The text goes to the mobile number of the owner. You can send up to 5 a day, and it appears in the activity log below once it is sent.
