How Jukto sends SMS and email
Which messages your buyers and you receive, which service sends them, who pays and which sender name is used.
Jukto does not send your order messages from its own account. Texts and emails to your buyers go out through your own SMS gateway and your own email provider, so the cost and the sender name are yours. Jukto decides when to send, writes the message from your template and keeps a log.
From an order event to the buyer#

Both go through a queue and are tried again if the provider had a short problem. The result of every message (Waiting, Sent or Failed) is shown on the order page, with a Resend button.

Good to know#
- Nothing is sent until you turn a gateway or provider on. Before that, buyers receive nothing from Jukto.
- Only one SMS gateway, and only one of Brevo or Resend, sends your order messages at a time.
- The message log keeps the last four digits of a number or a masked email address, never the whole address or the text.
- Bangla text is sent as unicode, so one SMS uses two or three parts. English is one part and the cheapest.
