Paystation is the simplest way to offer several payment methods with just two values: a Merchant ID and a password.

What it is#

Paystation is a payment aggregator. One Paystation account lets your buyers pay with cards and with wallets such as bKash, Nagad and Rocket, all on the Paystation page. It suits shops that want many methods without applying to each wallet one by one.

What you need#

  • A Paystation merchant account.
  • Three fields in Jukto:
Field in JuktoWhat it is
Merchant IDYour Paystation ID, which looks like 104-1653730183
Merchant passwordYour Paystation password (a secret)
Who pays the feeI pay the fee (default) or The buyer pays the fee

Where to find your keys#

  1. 1

    Sign in to Paystation

Sign in to your Paystation merchant account (paystation.com.bd). Your Merchant ID is made of digits with a dash in the middle. If you cannot find it, ask Paystation support.

  2. 2

    Copy the two values

Copy the Merchant ID and your merchant password into Merchant ID and Merchant password. Sandbox and live use different values.

  3. 3

    Choose who pays the fee

Pick whether you or the buyer pays Paystation's fee.

  4. 4

    Match the mode

    Choose Sandbox (testing) or Live.

What Jukto does#

  • Keys. Saved encrypted for this website only. The password is never shown again.
  • Payment. Jukto opens the payment with Paystation and sends the buyer to the Paystation page. Paystation takes whole taka only: an order total with poisha is refused ("Paystation takes whole taka only; this amount has poisha").
  • Notification (IPN). Paystation can tell Jukto about a successful payment by itself. Paste the Notification (IPN) address from the provider page into the IPN URL setting of your Paystation panel. It is a private address made for your website.
  • Verification. Paystation signs nothing, so Jukto never trusts a notice or a return: it always asks Paystation for the transaction status first and compares the invoice and the amount.
  • Order. On success the payment shows Paid with the Paystation transaction ID and method. A payment that Paystation reports as refunded shows Refunded.
  • Refunds. Paystation has no refund call for merchants. Refund in the Paystation panel and record the return on the order.
