Floating contact button

A round button on every page of your website that lets visitors reach you on WhatsApp, by phone or on Messenger. It needs no keys.

The floating contact button is a round button in a corner of every page. One tap opens WhatsApp, your phone dialler or Messenger. The numbers come from your business profile, so there is no key to paste. It is a tool you switch on in Tools, not an integration with keys.

Set it up#

  1. 1

    Check your business profile

In Settings add your phone and WhatsApp numbers to your business profile. A way to reach you without a number there is left out.

  2. 2

    Turn the tool on

Open Tools, find Floating contact button and switch it on.

  3. 3

Choose the ways to reach you

Open its settings in Site tools: pick WhatsApp, call or Messenger (a Messenger page name goes in its settings), the corner, the words and the back-to-top circle. With more than one way, a tap opens a small menu.

  4. 4

    Look at your website

Open your live website and tap the button. On phones it sits just above the bottom menu when you use one.

Good to know#

  • Turning the tool off removes the button from your website. Your settings stay, and the button comes back as it was when you turn it on again.
  • The button opens the app on the visitor's phone. It is not the same as the Chat inbox: to answer inside the dashboard, connect a chat channel.
