EPS asks for more values than the other gateways, but each one is on your EPS merchant portal. Collect them first, then fill the form in one go.

What it is#

EPS (Easy Payment System) is a gateway for cards and mobile wallets. At checkout the buyer goes to the EPS page, pays and returns to your store. It suits shops that already have an EPS merchant account.

What you need#

  • An EPS merchant account. You get access to the EPS merchant portal (merchant.eps.com.bd) or the details from EPS support.
  • Fields in Jukto:
Field in JuktoWhat it is
Merchant IDThe merchant GUID, a long code
Store IDThe store GUID, a long code
Username (portal e-mail)The e-mail you sign in to the portal with
PasswordYour portal password (a secret)
Hash keyA key EPS uses to sign requests (a secret)
Secret key (for the IPN)Optional. Only used to read EPS server notifications (a secret)

Where to find your keys#

  1. 1

Sign in to the EPS merchant portal

The Username is the e-mail you use to sign in, and the Password is your portal password.

  2. 2

Find the long codes and the Hash key

Find your Merchant ID and Store ID (both are long codes called GUIDs) and your Hash key in the portal. If you cannot see them, ask EPS support (integration@eps.com.bd).

  3. 3

Copy each value into the field with the same name

Merchant ID, Store ID, Username (portal e-mail), Password and Hash key.

  4. 4

Add the Secret key only if EPS gave you one

The Secret key is optional. Add it only if EPS gave you one for server notifications; payments work without it.

  5. 5

    Match the mode

Choose Sandbox (testing) or Live. Real sandbox values come from the EPS portal or from EPS support.

What Jukto does#

  • Keys. Saved encrypted for this website only. Password, Hash key and Secret key are never shown again.
  • Payment. Jukto signs the request with the Hash key, gets a token from EPS and opens the payment. The buyer goes to the EPS page and returns to your store with a success, fail or cancel result.
  • Your store address. EPS checks which domain a request comes from. Register your store address, shown on the provider page under Addresses to register at the provider, as the merchant domain in the EPS portal.
  • Notification (IPN). Paste the Notification (IPN) address from the provider page as the IPN URL in the EPS portal, and put the portal Secret key into Jukto so it can read the notices.
  • Verification. Jukto always asks EPS for the transaction status and compares the transaction and the amount before it marks an order paid.
  • Order. On success the payment shows Paid. A failed or cancelled payment leaves the order unpaid.
  • Refunds. EPS has no refund call for merchants. Refund in the EPS portal and record the return on the order.
