Add a product

Create a product with a name, pictures, price and stock, check the completeness panel, and publish it so buyers can see it.

A product is what you sell. Adding one takes a few minutes: a name, pictures, a price and how many you have. The product stays a draft, hidden from buyers, until you publish it.

Before you start#

  • Photos of the product on your phone or computer. JPG, PNG, WEBP or GIF, up to 10 MB each.
  • The price you want to sell at. If you track profit, also your cost price.
  • Optionally, categories and brands. Categories and Brands are tools that are on for a new website.

Create the product#

Open Products and press + Add product. The editor has these sections, and a side panel that shows what is still missing.

  1. 1

    Basic info

Type the Product name buyers will see. Choose the Product type: Single product (one price and one stock) or With variants (separate price and stock by size, colour...). Write the Description: fabric, size, care, delivery, whatever a buyer needs to know. Leave Link (slug) empty to build it from the name. A Product code is optional.

  2. 2

    Images

Drag images in, press Choose images, or pick from From library. The first image becomes the Main image, shown in lists and when the product is shared. Use the arrows to reorder and mark another one as Main if you like.

  3. 3

    Pricing

Enter the Regular price. To sell for less, add a Sale price: the regular price is then shown struck through. Cost price is private and only used for your profit. Weight (grams) helps the delivery charge when your shipping rules use weight.

  4. 4

    Stock and SKU

Under Stock & SKU type Stock on hand to count stock: every order lowers it, and buyers cannot order once it reaches zero. Leave it empty and the product always shows as available. The SKU is your stock code and the barcode on labels.

  5. 5

    Category and brand

Choose one or more categories under Category & brand, and a brand if you use them. You can type a new category name to create it.

  6. 6

    Publish

Open the Status panel and set Published, or press Publish at the top. Draft keeps it hidden.

Manage products later#

The Products list has tabs All, Published, Draft and Trash, and a search by name, product code or SKU. From the list you can Edit, Duplicate, Publish or move a product to the trash. Trashed products are kept for 30 days and can be restored. The top of the page shows how many products your plan allows, for example "12/50 on your plan".

Common problems#

The Publish button is greyed out

Open the completeness panel. It lists what is missing: usually the main image, the selling price or the stock quantity.

My product is published but I cannot see it on the website

Check that the website is live: Go live. Also look at the product page in the builder preview, and clear the browser cache.

The editor warns about my sale price

A sale price should be lower than the regular price. Check you did not swap the two numbers.

I reached my product limit

The page shows "N/limit on your plan" and a link to Billing. Move unused products to the trash or choose a bigger plan.
