Go live
A checklist of what must be true before visitors can buy: approval, the first invoice, your design, products, delivery, payment and a test order.
Your website is ready for visitors when it is approved, its plan is paid or free, your design is published, you have products, and delivery and payment are set. This guide gives you the checklist and shows where each part lives.
Before you start#
- You created the website: Create your website.
- You added at least one product of your own: Add a product.
- Delivery and payment are set: Set up delivery and payment.
The launch checklist#
| # | Check | Where to see it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | The Jukto team approved the website | Settings > Billing, card Store status: it must say Active |
| 2 | The plan is active. A paid plan needs the first invoice paid; the Free plan needs nothing now | Billing: Pay the first invoice |
| 3 | Your own design is published | Design (Store Design). Until you publish, buyers see the starter design |
| 4 | At least one product of your own is published (demo products do not count) | Products: status Published |
| 5 | Delivery charge and order confirmation are set | Settings > Shipping and Settings > Checkout |
| 6 | Payment ways are set | Tools > Integrations > Payments |
| 7 | You placed a test order and followed it | A Demo product, then Orders |
| 8 | Optional: your own domain is live | Settings > Domain: Connect your own domain |
Walk through it#
- 1
Preview your website
While the website is not live, a banner on the dashboard says so, and the top bar has a Preview store button that opens your draft in a new tab. Use it to look at the pages as a buyer would.
- 2
Pay the first invoice, if there is one
Open Billing. If Your first invoice is ready is shown, press Pay the first invoice. You can pay online when it is offered, or by bKash or Nagad Send Money and then enter the transaction ID. The Jukto team approves a manual payment by hand. See Invoices and payment.
- 3
Publish your design
Open Design, check the header, footer, homepage, product page, cart and checkout, and publish. If a default already looks right, leave it: the Overview card lets you press Keep as is.
- 4
Place a test order
Open your shop, add a Demo product to the cart and check out. Demo orders are marked as demo, are never delivered or paid, and never count as sales or against your limits. Then open the order in Orders and confirm it.
- 5
Share the link
Copy your store address from the Overview. Add it to your Facebook page, WhatsApp and ads.

What the store status means#
| Status | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Waiting for approval | The Jukto team has not approved it yet. Buyers see a "being set up" page | Keep setting up. You get an SMS when it is approved |
| Waiting for the first payment | Approved, but the first invoice is open. Orders and selling open after the first payment | Pay the first invoice in Billing |
| Active | Open for orders | Nothing: you are live |
| Maintenance (bill due) | An invoice is overdue. Buyers cannot order | Pay what is due in Billing |
| Plan ended / Plan cancelled | The plan ended or was cancelled, and the storefront is closed | Choose a plan and pay in Billing |
| Suspended / Application not approved | The Jukto team stopped or did not approve it | Contact support |
Common problems#
Buyers see "being set up"
The website is not Active yet. Open Billing and check the Store status card: it is either waiting for approval or waiting for the first payment.
My changes are not visible to buyers
Saved changes are private drafts. Publish them in the builder. Buyers see the last design you published.
I paid but the status did not change
A bKash or Nagad payment is reviewed by the Jukto team, so it can take a little time. An online payment is marked paid after the provider confirms it. The payment list in Billing shows each payment as pending review, accepted or rejected.
Next#
- After the first order: Order lifecycle and Courier booking
- Your own address: Connect your own domain
- Plans and invoices: Plans, invoices and payment
